The philosophy of the Fantini Club is based on sport as a catalyst for positive energy, not as competition and not only as physical activity, but as an approach to life.
It is back in 1959 that we, Fantini, have been running the Fantini Club, Italy's most sports-oriented beach club, a meeting point for professional athletes and enthusiasts.
Originally born as a bathing establishment, by the end of the 1970s, the particularities of this place began to emerge: that is, the coupling of hospitality and passion for sports.
This is happening from the time when Claudio Fantini's mother, the current owner of the beach club, set up fishing nets on the beach to allow her son and his friends to play volleyball.
In the early 1980s it was Claudio Fantini himself who brought Beach Volleyball, already popular in the United States and South America, to Italy, and in 1984 organized the First Beach Volleyball Tournament at the European level.

Thanks to these events, we have attracted, and still do attract, some of the most important sports champions. Just to name three of them: Armando Maradona, Marco Pantani, Alex Zanardi.
Among the most important sporting events is Ironman Italy Emilia-Romagna: this is Italy's most participated Ironman event, with Cervia being filled with thousands of athletes from 98 countries worldwide, featuring four days of great sport and many side events.
Our mission is to make every guest feel cuddled, welcomed, happy, offering custom services and a special and full vacation, with the beautiful setting of the Cervia sea!
